I have been getting my hair cut with Sophie for almost 2 years and she never disappoints! She listens and asks questions to really know how I want my hair cut and she executes amazingly. We make a plan together for subsequent cuts to maintain my hair and shape while also trying to be mindful of my hair growth goals. I have curly hair (around 3A) and it can be very hard to find a hairdresser that I trust with my curls. I moved out of Austin like 4 hours away and still make it a point to visit Austin to continue getting my cuts with her because of the confidence and trust I have in her. I have thick wavy hair that needs special care. I've learned over the years that you can't cut it wet and you can't expect to cut a straight line (like bangs) and have my hair hang straight.

Many a time I've walked out of a salon with a chopping that required me to hibernate for a few months or wear a ball cap when I do go out.

best salon I’ve been to in Austin. I did get personal cuts from a family friend and eventually had to find a new salon … after the run around from a few of the fancy instagram places .. I ended up here because of weekend appointment and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve already recommended to another close friend and she loved it too.
